Health Insurance Marketplace (Exchange)

Question: Where do I find information about the Health Insurance Marketplace (exchange)?

Answer: The Health Insurance Exchange is part of the Affordable Care Art, also referred to as the health care reform law. In 2014, the Health Insurance Marketplace began offering health plans for individuals who have no medical insurance or may not qualify for health benefits through their employers. If you are not eligible for U-M health coverage, go to healthcare.gov for more information.
